North Carolina Museum of Art presents
NCMA Outdoor Summer Movies
About the Series:
"Big-screen movie magic under the stars has been a cherished NCMA experience for over 20 years. From June until September, you'll find a variety of well curated flicks featuring recent Oscar winners, family favorites, and timeless classics. Though the crowds get large, the lawn itself provides an intimate vibe, and with a sizable projections screen for viewing, it's easy to get a seat toward the back. Occasionally, NCMA will bring in a band to complement the genre of the movie. Coolers and picnics are welcome, though alcoholic beverages must be purchased from the vendors onsite.Parents, please note: many screenings are family friendly, but we do include a few R-rated titles each season. Prices vary for Music/Movie Combos.
Picnics are welcome. Alcoholic beverages may not be brought in; all nonalcoholic beverages, including water, must arrive in factory-sealed containers.
